Nomad Beat is back at the Eastgate, and we’re bringing the music with us! We’re taking over the Eastgate Theatre for one day only with the following free workshop sessions

10am – 10:45 Music for under 5s
A fun session for little ones with singing, dancing, instruments, parachute games and more!

11am – 11:45 Kids Choir pop-up session
For kids of all ages who want to sing! Come and join our fun kids choir session.

12 noon – 12:45 Rusty Instruments
For adults. Did you play an instrument as a child, but haven’t played in years?
Then this is the session for you! A fun way to get back to playing music in a group again. Bring your instrument and join in!

1pm – 1:45 Hand Drumming
For ages 10 to 100. Have a go at hand drumming with our drum teacher Ian.
No experience necessary!

2pm – 2:45 Rusty Voices
For adults. Come along and have a go at singing in a choir. Everyone welcome – whether you’ve sung in a choir before or this is your first time.

3pm – 3:45 Inclusive Music Making
A fun music session for young people with additional needs. Come along and see how we run our accessible music sessions. Try assistive musical instruments, singing and signing, group percussion and more!
